SpeedLongIsland Dating & SpeedLongIsland Matchmaking shall for the purpose of this content be referred to as SpeedLongIsland Dating throughout the Terms & Conditions of this website) Our Speed Dating events are reliant on an equal guy to gal ratio of attendees. While we do try to work with our daters and encourage daters to be understanding of each others schedule changes, we do ask daters to please notify us with as much notice as possible in order to replace your reservation. Should last minute cancellations, reschedules or weather cause the event to be rescheduled, you will receive your original credit which can be used for any event, in any city, at any time. Ticket/Credits may also be transferred to a friend. Your purchase will not be issued a refund. All sales are final.

Matchmaking

Participants of our Matchmaking Packages are expected to attend Matchmaking events at no additional cost. Attendance is an important part of the process and an excellent opportunity for us to get to know you better, for you get to know our daters and for us to see who is drawn to you. As well, many Matchmaking daters find our events the perfect way to narrow down what they are looking for and learn a bit more about themselves in the process.

Matchmaking 'Date Nights' are based on mutual interest. If after several good faith attempts to find a suitable match, your challenges cannot be met by fellow daters, we reserve the right to transfer the value of your package to our events, without expiration. 

Privacy Policy

SpeedLongIsland Dating & SpeedLongIsland Matchmaking is committed to protecting your privacy. You are guaranteed 100% privacy. Only the personal information which you have agreed to divulge will be shared with your ‘Date-Mate’. At no time will your information be shared with anyone other than a mutual Date-Mate.

Any person who wishes to use the SpeedLongIslandDating.com website must be at least 21 years of age. 

SpeedLongIsland Dating events and SpeedLongIsland Matchmaking are intended for use and participation by persons that are over 21 years of age. Therefore, SpeedLongIsland Dating complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. Any information collected or received from anyone under the age of 21 will be promptly removed from our system.

Terms of Use

This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for your use of the website and participation in all SpeedLongIsland Dating events and SpeedLongIsland Matchmaking. These "Terms" apply to all users of the SpeedLongIsland Dating.com website, whether or not they are a registered member. If you do not agree to the terms set forth, please do not register. SpeedLongIsland Dating keeps all information supplied by you confidential. User authorizes SpeedLongIsland Dating to release said information to other Users who you "match" with only.

By registering with SpeedLongIsland Dating and SpeedLongIsland Matchmaking you are agreeing that SpeedLongIsland Dating is not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may in any way arise out of a SpeedLongIsland Dating event or Matchmaking ‘Date-Night’. SpeedLongIsland Dating provides a forum in which singles can meet face to face and does not make any guarantees of any kind. SpeedLongIsland Dating events and SpeedLongIsland Matchmaking are held at venues over which SpeedLongIsland Dating and its associates have no control. Therefore, in the event that you are injured or suffer damages of any kind at a SpeedLongIsland Dating event or Matchmaking ‘Date-Night’ you agree to release SpeedLongIsland Dating and its associates from any liability with respect thereof.

INDEMNITY BY MEMBER

User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SpeedLongIsland Dating, its officers, directors, shareholders, consultants, Hosts and Area Managers (as defined within the SpeedLongIslandDating.com Web site), agents, employees, partners, affiliates, licensees and subsidiaries from any and all losses, claims, damages, expenses (including reasonable fees, disbursements, and other charges of Counsel), actions, proceedings, liabilities or investigations (whether formal or informal), or threats thereof, based upon, relating to, or arising in connection with your attendance at any of our events, any and all of the services that SpeedLongIsland Dating provides or claims to provide, as well as communications or meetings that you arrange on your own volition and on your own time with others who have participated in a SpeedLongIsland Dating event. You agree that you take sole and complete responsibility for any and all actions that might occur during any meeting, communication or date.

Including but not limited to the uniquely British theme, ‘Date-Night’ Matchmaking, ‘This, that and the other’ Concierge Services, the concept of arranging a ‘blind date’ – ‘Date-Night’ at an agreed upon venue with limited personal information exchanged, the term ‘pre-arranged reservation’ and the use of select venues. You are granted access to make personal use of this site and you are not allowed to download other than page caching, modify or create a hyperlink to this site, or any portion of it, except with the express prior written consent of SpeedLongIsland Dating or its business partners, as applicable.
